Volunteer Spotlight | Sharon Benoit
Sharon Benoit is one of our outstanding ESL tutors. She goes above and beyond to ensure that our students learn the English language at their own pace. Her remarkable patience allows our level-one students to find their unique strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles as they begin their educational journey. Sharon makes a world of a difference in our classrooms and our entire community. Recently, the education team found themselves in a bind when a cat began coming around our Kitties Landing location. After several failed attempts at trapping the cat, Sharon offered to help. Her patience, once again, saved the day! She helped us trap Shadow and fostered her and her kittens. Sharon, you are a superhero! Bluffton Self Help is honored to have you as one of our volunteers.
*Shadow and her kittens will call a horse farm in Vermont their forever home.
