Peggy began her journey as a BSH Red Apron Volunteer in The Market & Warehouse in the Fall of 2021 where her attention to detail and kind-hearted spirit first shined. During the 2022 Holiday Toy registration period, Peggy volunteered to help register families for holiday toy assistance in the Resource Hub. During the holidays, Peggy served at Bluffton Self Help almost five days a week for several consecutive weeks helping with family registrations and keeping the family shopping days and times organized and up to date. After the Toy Shop concluded, Peggy decided to stay on the Resource Hub team. Peggy is an enthusiastic, positive-thinking, and dedicated volunteer who does not mind taking the lead. She is a great asset with a kind and caring nature, and she is excited about being able to assist our neighbors at initial intake and throughout their pathway to self-sufficiency. She enjoys spending quality time with her husband Dave and they love to travel and visit their children and grandchildren who live in different states.
Thank you Peggy for all you do for Bluffton Self Help and our community.
Make a difference in the lives of our neighbors and our community.
