Administrative and Donor Support Specialist
The Administrative and Donor Support Specialist’s primary responsibilities are to provide administrative support to the CEO and other members of the organization. Additionally, they are responsible for the daily financial record keeping in the donor software, Kindful, and donor acknowledgements. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of urgency, strong organizational skills, a keen eye, and attention to detail. They must demonstrate strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Learning & Literacy Center Coordinator
This position serves as the day-to-day operations and program administrator for the Learning and Literacy Center on Hilton Head Island, SC. Candidate must be customer focused, data-driven, organized, and results-oriented. He/she must also believe and exemplify and have passion for Bluffton Self Help’s mission, vision and values. The Coordinator will oversee and coordinate resources, workshops, and overall operations of The Center. This includes coordination of ESL, GED, Computer Lab, Workforce Readiness and other resources offered. They will work closely with clients to help access and identify resources needed for success and ensure classes are staffed with volunteers. They will provide leadership and support to community agencies and organizations to further the mission of the program. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an understanding of the issues, community needs, and existing systems of care related to the assigned impact and/or focus area. He/she must also be able to effectively articulate core standards, both verbally and in writing, to multiple audiences with the expressed purpose of raising public awareness of issues, educating donors and volunteers, convening community around issues and affecting community action.
Evening Coordinator
This part-time position serves as the evening support and admin for the Learning and Literacy Center. Positions are available in Bluffton, Hardeeville, and Hilton Head. Candidates must be customer focused, data-driven, organized and results-oriented. He/she must also believe and exemplify and have passion for Bluffton Self Help’s mission, vision and values.
