BSH receives Caritas Grant Award

Bluffton Self Help is proud to announce we are the recipient of a Caritas Grant Award for Fall 2012!

BSH was one of 24 charities across the state of South Carolina to receive one of the Fall 2012 Caritas Grant Awards in a special ceremony held Wednesday November 1 in Columbia, SC.  Representing Bluffton Self Help was vice president of the board, John Orth.

Thank you Sisters of Charity for recognizing BSH efforts to assist our Bluffton neighbors facing issues related to poverty and hunger.  The grant will assist in offering emergency financial assistance to clients who have a documented emergency and a plan to become self-reliant.
