Bluffton Self Help has a long-standing tradition of ensuring that all Lowcountry neighbors can take home turkey or ham, a variety of holiday meal trimmings, and gifts for their children. Fulfilling this holiday commitment takes a community. Thank you for helping to keep this holiday tradition alive.
More than 1,350 children experienced the magic of Christmas morning, because of our generous community. Because of you, 440 families shopped for 14,619 toys, books, games, winter coats, sporting gear, and stocking stuffers at Bluffton Self Help’s Toy Shop this month. But, it is about more than toys, it’s about the hope and sense of relief – so overwhelming that parents and neighbors are brought to tears- tears of joy and gratitude.
“Just wanted to reach out and express my thanks and gratitude for the program yesterday. I cried all the way home. Thank you and everyone so much. Forever grateful. My goals are to be in your shoes one day giving back. Happy Holidays,” – BSH Neighbor
Because of you, 274 families gathered around a table full of a special holiday meal, making memories that will last a lifetime.
Bluffton Self Help is grateful for our community’s unwavering support. Together, we continue to help fill the gap for the 60% of our Lowcountry neighbors who are struggling to get by every week.
Behind the gifts under the tree are children’s faces of pure joy and parents’ tears of hope. On the other side of tables filled with special holiday meals are families making memories. Behind every donation is a holiday tradition wrapped in hope and happiness.
Thank you for making it all possible!
