Our community is in crisis. It is all around us and largely invisible. More neighbors are economically at-risk than financially secure in the Lowcountry. 60% of Beaufort County neighbors and 75% of Jasper County neighbors are not earning a livable wage.

You never know who may need help or who can offer some help to make impactful change. Everyone can be an advocate. Tell others why you support Bluffton Self Help, about the barriers to success our Lowcountry neighbors face, or how Bluffton Self Help is filling the gap.

Invite our team to come talk to your church, community group, neighborhood, staff, or other organization about the challenges our neighbors face and the mission of Bluffton Self Help.

By sharing experiences of how our community comes together in a time of need, stories like yours can keep a conversation going, change attitudes, spark philanthropy, inspire others to ask for help and allow Bluffton Self Help to help as many people as possible by letting them know about the support available. These personal stories can also inspire people to fundraise or volunteer for us.
