Client Advocate

Every neighbor’s journey is different. As a Client Advocate, you’ll walk alongside individuals and families as they overcome barriers, navigate resources, and build brighter futures. Through compassionate guidance, meaningful relationships, and personalized support, you’ll help connect neighbors with the programs and community resources they need to achieve greater stability and self-sufficiency. We’re looking for a collaborative, solutions-focused professional with experience in case management, human services, or client advocacy who is passionate about serving others and making a lasting impact in the Lowcountry. Intake + Access Specialist

Do you believe every person deserves to be welcomed with dignity, compassion, and a clear path to opportunity? Self Help is seeking an Intake & Access Specialist to lead and strengthen the systems that connect neighbors with the programs and resources they need. This role oversees the intake experience across our Bluffton, Hardeeville, and Hilton Head locations, ensuring every neighbor receives consistent, welcoming, and efficient support from their very first interaction. The ideal candidate is an organized, collaborative problem solver with experience in program operations, client services, or human services who is passionate about improving systems that create meaningful community impact. This position also oversees our Emergency Financial Assistance program and supervises intake volunteers across all locations.

Education and Resource Center Coordinator
(Part Time | Evenings)

Do you believe education has the power to change lives?

Self Help is seeking a Part-Time Evening Education & Resource Center Coordinator to help create a welcoming, supportive learning environment where neighbors can build the skills and confidence to pursue brighter futures. This role serves as the evening point of contact for students and tutors, provides administrative support for our education programs, and helps ensure classes and learning spaces are prepared for success each day.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and people-focused, with strong communication skills and a passion for serving others.
