In May, Bluffton Self Help was recognized by Jasper County Chamber of Commerce as Business Education Partner of the Year.
The City of Hardeeville has been an integral partner in helping Bluffton Self Help provide education and training in Jasper County with BSH utilizing space within the Hardeeville Recreation Center and the Hardeeville Library, offering five in-person ESL classes each week. Additionally, BSH’s Hardeeville education team added online ESL coursework to include neighbors without transportation or schedule flexibility to attend class in person.
Given the rapid growth of Jasper County, BSH’s education offerings will continue to expand with future plans to include workforce readiness and job placement.
