Current Opportunties
Client Advocate
Join Bluffton Self Help on our mission to empower Lowcountry neighbors to improve their lives through an individualized, holistic approach. Our client advocate team works one-on-one, walking alongside our neighbors to provide strong support and paths to success. The ideal Client Advocate candidate brings a deep knowledge of the community’s needs and available resources. If you are known for your empathy and problem solving skills and a results-oriented work ethic, we’d love to talk to you. Demonstrate your strong communication skills by sending us your resume and a cover letter to introduce yourself.
Director of Finance & Administration
Are you a numbers nerd and a people person? Do you thrive on balancing budgets, boosting team morale, fixing tech hiccups, and keeping the lights on — all before lunch? We’re looking for a multi-talented, mission-minded Director of Finance & Administration to be the steward of our financial health and operational awesomeness.
If you love blending strategy with service, details with big-picture thinking, and spreadsheets with people skills, this is your jam.
Program Specialist, The Market
Are you a people person with a passion for community, organization, and impact? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment where no two days are the same? Bluffton Self Help is looking for a Program Specialist to be a key player in The Market — our dynamic, client-centered food and clothing hub.
In this forward-facing role, you’ll be part operations guru, part volunteer whisperer, and all heart. You’ll engage directly with neighbors in need, lead a team of dedicated volunteers, and keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. From seasonal programs to mobile deliveries, your attention to detail and ability to connect will make a real difference in real lives.
