Sometimes the best way to make a bigger impact is to work together.
On Friday, October 2, Self Help officially celebrated the grand opening of our new collaborative space with The Deep Well Project on Hilton Head Island, marking an exciting new chapter in a partnership that began with a conversation nearly two years ago.
Self Help has served Hilton Head Island neighbors since 2021, connecting individuals and families with healthy food, emergency financial assistance, education and workforce training, and personalized resource navigation. Our new shared location with The Deep Well Project creates greater access to those resources while making it easier for neighbors to connect with multiple forms of support in one familiar place.
The grand opening brought together community partners, supporters, volunteers and local leaders to celebrate what intentional collaboration can make possible.
For Self Help, the new space represents an opportunity to meet neighbors closer to where they live, strengthen relationships across Hilton Head Island and build upon the work already happening throughout the community.
We are incredibly grateful to The Deep Well Project for sharing this vision with us and to everyone who helped bring it to life.
Now, the real work begins.
