Volunteer Spotlight | South Atlantic Bank

We are grateful for our volunteers from South Atlantic Bank, Jamie Mitchell, Cathy Harding, Ansley Goodman, and Meghan Ofner. With their assistance, we launched our first Financial Literacy Program at Bluffton Self Help in 2023, and they have been with us every step of the way. Through this program, we are providing Lowcountry residents with fundamental financial education via a 90-minute workshop, along with other resources to support our neighbors. Our financially savvy volunteers from the bank stepped up by developing the workshop content that focuses on reducing debt, improving credit, learning to save, and how to avoid being taken advantage of by financial predators. We appreciate their expertise and willingness to help neighbors understand these critical fundamentals. Thank you, ladies, for your time and investment in our community!
