Bluffton Self Help Vaccination Policy

In Agosto 2021, the rise of the covid cases in our area exceeded top levels in the fall. With a 15% test positive rate, for the safety of our students, staff and tutors, Bluffton Self Help wanted to implement a vaccine policy for our programs.
Bluffton Self Help is strongly urging our community to be vaccinated tomitigate the risk and spread of the Covid-19 virus. Currently all Bluffton Self Help staff are fully vaccinated. All volunteers who interact with clients or staff are also vaccinated and if not, may request a non-client contact position.
English as a Second Language (ESL)
A 2-week class delay to notify students and tutorsbeginningclasses Miércoles, Sept. 1.
- In-person classes will be limited to those who are fullyvaccinated with proof and photo id. Masks will continue to be required, temperature checks upon entering the building and, cleaning and sanitization will continue.
- If a student is not fully vaccinated, he/she should remain in their assigned virtual classes.
- When a student gets fully vaccinated, he/she may join in-person classes two weeks after receiving the second vaccine(or first shot with Johnson & Johnson).
- To accommodate classes, conference tools such as an owl (or similar) will accommodate each in person class to allow students to attend virtually.
Education & Resource Center (ERC)
The ERC will continue with normal operation and hours. We will encourage those seeking assistance to make an appointment with Barbara to ensure social distancing. Masks are required in the ERC at all times.
Ida Martin’s Market
The Market will continue normal operation and hours. The drive-thrufood option and home deliveries continue to be an option for thoseuncomfortable coming into the pantry. We limit the number of”shoppers” at any time and are requiring masks at all times.
